DUTABET – Belum banyak yang tahu alasan dibalik perseteruan antara Jose Mourinho dengan Paul Pogba di Manchester United dulu. Dan belum lama ini, pelatih asal Portugal tersebut membongkar semua cerita yang belum diketahui oleh publik.
Hubungan Mourinho dan Pogba dikabarkan memburuk, terlebih setelah ia mencabut jabatan sebagai wakil kapten pada awal musim 2018-2019 ini. Padahal, ia sendiri yang menyerahkan jabatan tersebut kepada gelandang asal Prancis itu.
Setelahnya, berbagai rumor menyebutkan bahwa salah satu di antara keduanya akan meninggalkan Old Trafford. Rumor tersebut akhinrya memberikan jawaban pasti. Per bulan Desember lalu, Jose Mourinho tidak lagi berstatus sebagai pelatih Manchester United.

Kisah Mourinho Soal Pogba
Publik mencoba menerka alasan dibalik perseteruan Mourinho dengan Pogba, hingga akhirnya menimbulkan banyak dugaan. Salah satunya adalah tingkah sang pemain yang terlihat menertawakan kekalahan Manchester United atas Derby di ajang Carabao Cup.
Namun ternyata, bukan itu alasan utama Mourinho kesal dengan Pogba. Dalam sebuah seminar kepelatihan di Portugal, eks nahkoda Chelsea tersebut membongkar cerita dibalik permusuhannya dengan sang pemain.
“Kami akan bermain di tempat sejauh 30 kilometer dari Manchester dan seorang pemain meminta untuk pulang lebih dulu ke Manchester setelah pertandingan lalu pergi sendirian,” tutur Mourinho seperti yang dikutip dari Goal.
“Saya berkata, ‘bila kami ke London dan anda ingin bertahan di sana, itu akan jadi hal yang berbeda. Tapi ini dekat, tidak masuk akal. Orang itu kecewa. Namun kami memenangkan pertandingan dan dia bertanya lagi kepada saya,” lanjutnya.
“Karena saya senang, saya memberinya sedikit perkataan, ‘Setidaknya pergilah dengan bus dan minta sopir anda untuk menyusul 10 menit dari stadion, lalu pergilah sesukamu’,” tambahnya.

Yang Mulia Pogba Membangkang
Setelah berkata seperti itu, menurut cerita Mourinho, Pogba masih tak senang. Pemain asal Prancis itu malah melanggar permintaan Mourinho dan kemudian pergi menggunakan mobil Rolls Royce miliknya sendirian.
“Orang ini, di ruang ganti, masih terlihat tidak senang. Saya pergi ke konferensi pers dan saat saya tiba di bus milik tim, sebuah Rolls-Royce dengan sopirnya terparkir di samping bus,” sambungnya.
“Itu mobil baru dan ‘Yang Mulia’ ingin meninggalkan stadion dengan Rolls-Royce miliknya. Sekarang bagaimana kami mengatasi hal seperti ini? Anda [meminta] dia untuk tidak pergi dengan Rolls miliknya? Anda bisa pergi saat saya sennag? Atau menyelesaikan masalah ini dengna cara lain untuk membuat saya ‘berlibur’?” tandasnya.
Akhir kata, Mourinho didepak dari Old Trafford lalu digantikan dengan Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Sejak saat itu, performa Pogba menanjak seiring dengan perkembangan apik dari hasil yang diraih oleh The Red Devils.
