DUTABET – Mitra Kukar akan menjalani partai hidup mati menghadapi Persija Jakarta dalam pertandingan pekan pamungkas Liga 1 2018 di Stadion Utama Gelora Bung Karno, Jakarta pada Senin, 9 Desember 2018.
Seperti diketahui, kedua tim sangat membutuhkan poin penuh untuk memenuhi kepentingannya masing-masing. Persija harus menang demi menjaga posisinya di puncak klasemen. Sedangkan, Mitra Kukar juga membutuhkan angka sempurna untuk mengamankan mereka dari jurang degradasi.
Berbicara peluang untuk lolos dari jeratan zona merah, Pelatih Mitra Kukar, Rahmad Darmawan, mengaku tak peduli dengan hasil pertandingan lima tim lain. Menurutnya, dengan meraih kemenangan melawan Persija, posisi Naga Mekes akan semakin aman dan tak perlu mengetahui hasil di laga lain.
“Saya rasa ada lima tim yang masih punya peluang untuk turun (ke Liga 2) dan lima tim itu juga masih punya peluang untuk naik (bertahan di Liga 1). Makanya, kami akan mencoba sekuat mungkin pertahankan Mitra Kukar di Liga 1 dan syaratnya hanya satu, yaitu mendapatkan poin penuh di pertandingan terakhir. Karena satu poin juga belum cukup, kami harus lihat hasil pertandingan lainnya juga,” kata Rahmad Darmawan, ketika dihubungi wartawan, Kamis, 6 Desember 2018.
Pelatih yang kerap disapa RD ini juga menegaskan, bahwa anak asuh telah siap tempur jelang duel melawan Macan Kemayoran. Ia pun bersama skuatnya sudah melakukan persiapan di Bekasi sejak awal Desember lalu.
“Tapi sepenuhnya kami sudah siap. Kami juga sudah melakukan 5 kali sesi latihan setelah lawan Sriwijaya FC. Pemain juga sangat semangat dalam menunjukkan profesional saat berlatih,” ucapnya.
Mitra Kukar masih harus bersaing dengan empat tim lainnya di papan bawah. Saat ini, Naga Mekes, berada di peringkat ke-15 dengan raihan 39 poin. Torehan tersebut, sama dengan yang dimiliki oleh Perseru Serui, Sriwijaya FC dan PS Tira. Sementara itu, PSMS yang berada di posisi paling buncit memiliki koleksi 37 poin.
